Andy and Julie Bake will be our support crew on this trip. They have several years’ experience of supporting crazy folk over long distance cycling challenges in the French Pyrenees and The Alps, as Tour de France Guides and as ride leaders on a Spanish training camp.

They are competitive cyclists and have won awards in cycling time trials (have a look on Hartlepool CC website).

They both hold down ‘proper’ jobs, Andy is a Senior Probation Officer so this bunch of reprobates will not pose a problem to him and Julie is a Speech and Language Therapy Technical Instructor and will have no problems understanding the gibbering wrecks these guys will undoubtedly become at the end of many sections of this challenge.
